SCC Must Use Own Money for Building

SCC's Emergency Response Training Center

Southeastern Community College will need to spend some of its own money to add on to one of its facilities.

The college wants to add some classroom and lab space at the site of its Emergency Response Training Center in Fort Madison.  It is located along Ortho Road roughly one mile from Fort Madison Community Hospital.

SCC planned to pay for the construction of a new building with state money.  The college is eligible for roughly $700,000 over two fiscal years.
