Keokuk, IA – Jason Parrott's guests are Erika Wolfe and Jack Meister. They published the book The Last Furlough. The Letters of Paul Claudius 1943-1944.

The book is a collection of letters written by Wolfe's father, Paul Claudius, to her mother. The letters, which were written in a new and old German styles, were translated by Meister.

During the program, Wolfe and Meister talk about how the book came together and what they each took from the experience.

Couza retires at the end of the month after a lengthy career at the university. Macomb, IL – Rich Egger's guests are Mindy Pheiffer of the Horn Field Campus and Timothy Collins of the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs. They talk about Western Illinois University's 6th Annual Environmental Summit. It will be held Wednesday, April 8 at the University Union Grand Ballroom from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Keynote speaker Sandra Steingraber will give presentations at noon in Macomb and at 7:00 pm at the Figge Museum in Davenport.
