The City of Galesburg is reworking one of its major streets.

At the height of the summer construction season, the national Highway Trust Fund is at risk of going belly-up by next month.
The fund helps pay for road work and bridge repairs all across the nation. Among projects in at jeopardy is work currently being done on an Interstate-72 overpass just outside of Springfield.
Mike Zahn, a leader with the International Union of Operating Engineers' State Council, spoke near that site on Monday. He says these projects mean jobs.
Backers of the proposed FutureGen power plant have reached an agreement with the leaders of 17 labor unions.
Some residents of the Argyle Sanitation District will be receiving a bill for past due sewer services.
The county says 22 properties are behind in their payments to Regional Utility Service Systems (RUSS).
The Mount Pleasant-based organization owns and operates Argyle’s sanitary sewer system.
Lee County has been covering the late fees for months, which has prompted the Board of Supervisors to approve the mailing of bills to delinquent customers.
The supervisors have that authority because they are also serving as the trustees for the sewer district.
