The Monmouth-Roseville School District closed Willets Elementary School last year. It will soon re-open as home to the Regional Office of Education for Warren, Mercer and Henderson counties.
School Board President Lynn Shimun says the contract was signed last week.
He says, “This is something we've been working on for about two years and finally we've got it completed. And we're working on getting a few minor adjustments and things made to the rooms."
The ROE will also move an alternative school into the building.
The regional office will pay the school district $2,000 per month to lease the building.
The conversion will take place early in July.
