Colchester, IL – The West Prairie school board will adopt a wellness program for the coming year. Superintendent Jonathan Heerboth says the program is a state mandate. He says it most-affects physical education and health programs, but will also cover the food service aspects in the school. He also told the board he has initiated informal discussions with the teachers' union to prepare for collective bargaining.
