Warsaw-Hamilton Road Repairs Coming This Year

Warsaw, IL – Construction on a portion of the Warsaw-Hamilton Road could get underway later this year. Mayor Robert Frank says the surveying and engineering work on the two miles of highway from Warsaw's Main Street to its city limits is moving along. He says the project could go out for bid in mid-June and construction could get underway a couple of months later. Warsaw's portion of the highway has large pot-holes, cracks, and numerous bumps where repairs have been made. The project will cost around $1,200,000. Frank says Warsaw will use a state grant and will borrow money to cover the $300,000 local match.
