The Tri States – A look back at the top stories and features from the Tri States Public Radio news department from November 2009.

Voters in southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri decided elections for mayor and city council positions. They also settled tax referenda and determined the future of a historic county building.

Also during the month, veterans were honored, governments struggled with the economic downturn, and an associate professor at Western Illinois University unveiled the discovery of the remains of a new type of dinosaur.

Jason Parrott examined why it's not an easy process for former workers of the IAAP to file health claims. Alex Degman visited an event in Macomb that took visitors back in time. Rich Egger told us about the Lost Boys of Monmouth.
