The Tri States – A look back at the top stories and features from the Tri States Public Radio news department from May 2010.

Illinois and Missouri lawmakers wrapped up their legislative sessions, though it appears there is still work to do in both states. The feds will help with a major renovation project in Carthage, and the "corpse flower" bloomed in the Western Illinois University greenhouse.

Reporter Alex Degman put together a three-part series to examine "What Happened to Jonathan Labbe?" All three parts of this look at mental health services and the Farm King shooter can be heard during this program.

Also during May, troops from western Illinois headed to an overseas assignment, and the first ever "Art-ssippi" took place on both sides of the great river.
