Macomb, IL – Winter living in the Midwest means having to deal with the inevitable snow storm now and again. Towns in Illinois are better equipped to deal with snow than those in other parts of the country - or are they? Western and central Illinois got hammered with a significant amount of snow on the first day of December. Some towns, such as East Peoria, are being praised for how quickly and efficiently they cleared roads following the storm. Other towns, including Macomb, are being criticized.
