Macomb, IL – The panelists discuss legislation in Illinois that would shield all public employee evaluations.

The measure was approved by the House and the Senate and now awaits Governor Pat Quinn's decision.

Supporters of the bill say job reviews are a private matter between a boss and a worker. Opponents of the measure say taxpayers deserve to know if there are problems with someone who is on the public payroll.

Opponents include media groups such as the Illinois News Broadcasters Association.
