Macomb, IL – The panelists are joined by Alex Degman, who is in his final week on the job as Morning Edition host at Tri States Public Radio.
Degman will begin a job later this month with the Illinois Radio Network, which provides stories to commercial radio stations across the state. Degman will be based in Springfield, where he will report on state government.
This will not be his first stint with IRN. Degman interned at the network while working on his Master's degree from the Public Affairs Reporting program at the University of Illinois in Springfield.
Degman said there was no shortage of news to report on during his time as Morning Edition host, which began in November 2009. The most memorable story was the Farm King shooting on February 3, 2010.
