SCC President Takes New Job

West Burlington, IA – There will soon be a vacancy in the president's office at Southeastern Community College. Current President Jim Richardson has served in that capacity for the last four years. But in a few weeks, he will leave southeast Iowa for the Pacific Northwest. Richardson will start as president of Wenatchee Valley College, which is in the state of Washington, July 1. He says he has a lot of great memories from his years at SCC. Richardson was an instructor in Washington during the late 1989s and early 1990s. He says he always considered retiring there.
