Regional School Trustees Set Discussion

Macomb, IL – The Hancock-McDonough Regional Board of School Trustees will schedule another meeting to clarify a school detachment issue. In the spring, the board said 15 students could transfer from the Industry school district to Macomb. In an administrative hearing, a circuit judge told the board to clarify its order. Regional board chairman George Beckman says the board will expand on the findings of fact it made last May. Some members of the board have indicated they intend to vote again for the detachment.
