Bushnell, IL – Bushnell will seek bids on a re-roofing job for the Recreaton and Cultural Center. Mayor Steve Russell says a council committee decided not to pay the extra cost to build a peaked roof on the center. He says that would cost twice the estimated $40,000 cost of a new flat roof with a 15-year guarantee. He says bids should be in soon and the re-roofing project could be underway by late spring or summer.
