Pay Raise for Burlington School Superintendant

The head of the Burlington School District will receive a pay raise on July 1.

The school board has agreed to boost Superintendent Jane Evans’ salary by roughly 3.5% to more than $155,000.

Evans is entering the second year of her current two-year contract.

Business Manager Chris Stensland says no other language was changed in the contract.

The board met behind closed doors for about two hours before approving Evans’ raise.
