The shelter needed a storage trailer and found out one was available from a suburban Chicago company.
That business, McDonald Modular Solutions, agreed to donate the trailer.
Shelter director Sandy Brown cannot believe the generosity.
“The driver who brought it down for us set it up, leveled it, removed a stump that was in the way… I mean super amazingly nice… both of them super nice. We were just beyond ecstatic that some company would donate such an expensive trailer," Said Brown.
Brown says the shelter won’t be able to house more animals with the extra space, but the trailer is big enough to hold three offices.
The shelter plans on using them for an animal meet and greet, a place to spay and neuter your animal, and a storage space.
