Macomb, IL – The Macomb Area Economic Development Corporation has approve Bushnell for membership. Executive Director Kim Pierce says approving the membership was the next logical step after parts of Bushnell became part of the enterprise zone. Pierce says Bushnell aldermen must approve joining, but they have indicated interest before. The town and MAEDCO must also agree on a yearly assessment for Bushnell to pay. Pierce says MAEDCO's business retention program is likely to be one of the first services to be used.
