Keokuk, IA – One Lee County supervisor wants something to be done about an ongoing feud within Lee County government. Supervisor Larry Kruse says the board must deal with the tension between Auditor Anne Pedersen and budget director Susan Maddox. He says the situation has gotten to the point where it is affecting county operations and creating a hostile work environment. Kruse says if it continues, the Board of Supervisors could face a lawsuit. The flap between Pedersen and Maddox has flared up during open board meetings and in the local media for the last year and a half.
