The Keokuk Police Department confirmed Thursday afternoon that a body found near Lock & Dam 19 the previous day is that of Ron Wagner of Montrose, who went missing nearly three months ago.
Wagner and Bill White Sr. of Argyle took a boat out on the Mississippi River on January 3. Emergency crews conducted an extensive search for the two men to no avail.
White’s body was found in early March along the river near Hamilton.
Both men died from drowning.
