Iowa School Board Filing Underway

The filing period is open for anyone interested in running for a school board seat in Iowa.

Nominating petitions can be obtained through your local school district, your local county auditor's office or from the Iowa Secretary of State's website.

The filing period ends on August 1 with the election scheduled for September 10th.

Below are the number of seats that will appear on the ballot and who currently fills them.

Burlington School District (3 open seats)

Central Lee School District (4 open seats)
