Hamilton Revises Water Deal With Carthage

Hamilton, IL – Hamilton has made some revisions to its water service agreement with Carthage. The updated contract, which the city council approved last night, calls for Hamilton to provide Carthage with 4,000,000 gallons of water a month for 6 months. The previous agreement was for roughly 600,000 gallons/month. Water Superintendent, Tim Schilson, says Hamilton will have no problem boosting production. The deal requires Carthage to purchase a minimum of 4,000,000 gallons/month. After 6 months, Carthage can extend the deal or return to its previous agreement. Carthage has already agreed to the revised deal.
