Macomb, IL – Members of Bravo Battery, 123rd Field Artillery of the Illinois National Guard were honored over the weekend for their service in Iraq. The Assistant Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard gave each member of the unit a flag in a ceremony held before the unit began its regular monthly drill. The unit was mobilized for more than a year. Members were trained and served as military police while the were deployed. Now, the unit will resume artillery training.
