Macomb, IL – A fire this morning destroyed three apartments in an older Macomb home. No injuries were reported. The home at 528 North Randolph St. was owned by Randy Frier. He says fire fighters told him the blaze might have started in the kitchen of one of the apartments. Then it spread through the walls to the whole house. Fire fighters said the building was a total loss. Investigators will be on the scene Tuesday.
