Lee County, IA – Jason Parrott's guest is Linda Ross. Ross owns Chestnut Hill Pottery near Denmark and helped organize the 2nd Annual Southeast Iowa Artists' Studio Tour.
The tour runs 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 16 and 12:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 17.
Those participating in the tour can visit 39 art studios or galleries throughout Lee, Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, and Washington.
Ross says she has always wanted to see an event like this in southeast Iowa. She says it provides an up-close look at how the finished product comes to life.
Ross says most of the artists will have items for sale. She says they are also being encouraged to demonstrate their skills for those taking part in the tour.
There are no admissions fees and no reservations are needed to attend a studio.
