Macomb, IL – This week's program is an audio tour of the new Multi-Cultural Center at Western Illinois University. It's the school's first "green" building.
The tour is led by WIU Construction Project Coordinator Ted Renner. The building is located in the heart of campus, across the street from the University Union.
Some of the building's eco-friendly features include gardens on the roofs, a geo-thermal heating & cooling system, and the use of recycled materials in various parts of the structure.
