Macomb, IL – Rich Egger's guest is John Hallwas, who is author of the new book "Remembering McDonough County." Hallwas is also host of the new documentary "Macomb's Historic Places," which begins airing this weekend on University Television.
Hallwas worked on both projects during the course of the past year. The book is divided into two sections - one about people, one about places.
The TV series includes three hour-long programs. The first focuses on Macomb's downtown. The second part highlights Western Illinois University. The series concludes with stories from Oakwood Cemetery.
