Macomb, IL – Rich Egger's guests are Rob Porter, Bill Knox, and Timothy Collins of Western Illinois University. They talk about WIU's 8th Annual Environmental Summit.

The summit will be held on both campuses. It takes place Tuesday, April 5 on the Quad Cities campus and the following day on the Macomb campus.

The keynote speaker is Julian Keniry. She is Senior Director for Campus and Community Leadership for the National Wildlife Federation. Her presentation is titled "Why Eco-Literate Students Will Lead the 21st Century." She will speak at 7:00pm at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport on April 5, and at noon in the University Union Grand Ballroom in Macomb on April 6.

Events on the Quad Cities campus will take place from 1:00pm - 4:00pm in Room 102A-B. Most of the Environmental Summit activities on the Macomb campus will take place in the University Union's Grand Ballroom from 10:00am - 3:00pm.

A reception will take place Wednesday evening, April 6, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the West Central Illinois Arts Center on Macomb's courthouse square. The reception will open the WCIAC's new exhibit "Re-duced, Re-mused, Re-cycled: Recycled Art."
