Rushville, IL – Rushville aldermen have approved preliminary engineering work for the proposed re-paving of the brick streets around the square. Mayor Ron Shepherd says the city is still trying to come up with money for the city's portion of the project, as well as the cost of upgrading water and storm sewer lines before the re-paving begins. Shepherd says the entire project is expected to take between five and seven years.
