Burlington Sets New Middle School Borders

Burlington, IA – The Burlington school board has approved the new boundary line for the district's two middle schools. The change is needed after a fire destroyed Horace Mann Middle School in late May. Superintendent Mike Book says the boundary line almost equally divides the sixth, seventh and eighth grade students between the Oak Street and James Madison middle schools. Several temporary classroom units have already been ordered for next year. Book says they could be in place by late August.
