Carthage, IL – Carthage aldermen now have an estimate of development costs for the area near where Route 336 will pass the town. Mayor James Nightingale says the cost will be more than $3.3 million dollars for streets, sewers and water lines. The area will include the industrial park and land for commercial development near the highway and its turnoff. Nightingale says aldermen will begin figuring the five-phase development into future budgets.
