Macomb, IL – The Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging is holding a series of hearings to see how it might alter some of its senior citizen programs. Directo Deb Castillo says one of the things her agency wants to find out is whether there should be more counseling programs to help seniors with Medicare Part D or state insurance programs. She says the change would require taking some funds from programs such as congregate meals or transportation. A hearing will be held May 4 at 9 a.m. at McDonough District Hospital.
