Classes are open to all skill levels and are open work time for class participants. During the first part of each two-hour class period, Wunderlich will teach and demonstrate methods for handbuilding and/or wheel throwing. Participants are welcome to work on their own projects at their own levels during class periods, and can choose whether or not to participate in the demos and projects. It is helpful if students give a little advanced thought about forms they would like to make in clay prior to coming to class.
Bring ideas/sketches to class and we can plan together how best to approach building the form in clay. Classes run Mondays 7-9pm at the Monmouth College McMike Ceramics Lab. Participants will be allowed to enter and set up beginning at 6:45pm. All participants must be cleaned up and leave the studio/building by 9:15pm. Each session is $20 and covers the cost of materials and instruction. Registration is required and class size is limited.
