70h Annual National Tom Sawyer Days 4th of July Parade
Parade line up will begin at 8am and the parade will start promptly at 10am at 10th and Broadway
The parade will go Left on main street

Mayor Inman and the Flags of Love Committee announce that the Flags of Love will be displayed in Chandler Park on Independence Day, Friday, July 4, 2025, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm July 5, 2025, with the volunteer help of the Elks & Eagles Clubs and community volunteers.

This long running event takes place on every 4th of July at the Monmouth Municipal Airport. Hosted by the Monmouth Flying Club as their main fundraiser, this event brings in pilots and planes from all over the Midwest. There is a fresh-cooked breakfast and a performance from the Monmouth City Band.
Come celebrate the 4th of July at Lakeside Water Park! Games will be played every hour on the hour from 1-4PM. The FREE Mobile Playground will be outside of the water park next to the shelter from 1-4PM.
$8 per person, members get in free
The Annual Quincy Freedom Fest. The event includes bands, a small business street fair, performances, and a fireworks grand finale.

The Office of Downtown Development is pleased to announce that Park N’ Cruise is back for the 22nd season of classic cars, local music, food by the Knights of Columbus, and big fun in Chandler Park.
The Park N’ Cruise season is kicking off on Friday, May 2, 2025, with entertainment by M&S Light and Sound from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Every month through September, Park N’ Cruise will bring family-friendly entertainment to Historic Downtown Macomb. Again, on Friday, May 3, M&S Light and Sound will be bringing the tunes.
On Friday, June 6, enjoy the Unforgettables for your listening pleasure.
Friday, July 4, Bluzillion will roll into downtown.
Saturday, August 2, On Stage Band will be bringing their great music.
For the final event, Eternity Road will be bringing the season to its end on Friday, September 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Chandler Park.

The City of Macomb and Western Illinois University welcome the community to the annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025.
The fireworks display will take place on Vince Grady Field, and the community can enjoy the display by watching from Q-Lot on the Western Illinois University campus. Q-Lot is located on University Drive on the east side of Western Hall. Gates will open at 8:00 PM and the fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:00 PM.
“We are grateful for the continued partnership we have with Western Illinois University and appreciate the use of their facilities in making this Independence Day Celebration a safe and successful community event,” said Mayor Inman.
In the event of rain, the fireworks display will take place on Saturday, July 5 at the same time and location.
