This year the Festival will be held on Saturday, November 18, within the River City Mall in the suite to the left of the movie theater. The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the gala will begin with a buffet and cash bar catered by Hy Vee. A silent auction will continue throughout the evening, and a live auction of selected items, featuring Sullivan Auctioneers, will begin at 8:30 p.m. All items for both auctions are being generously donated by area businesses and individuals. Proceeds from the Festival will assist in the support of the Keokuk Art Center’s programs, including: monthly exhibitions, art classes & workshops, and the Artists in the Schools Program.
Entry forms are available at the Keokuk Art Center, and items will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17. Original and hand crafted gift items are encouraged, as well as decorated trees & wreaths, gift certificates, and other Christmas decorations. All entries must be artificial and may or may not include lights. Donated items may be delivered to the River City Mall from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. the day before the event. Awards will be presented in several categories, and individual recognition will be given to all entries. Participants will receive complimentary tickets for the evening.
Tickets for the 28th Annual Festival of Trees are $15.00 each and may be purchased at the Keokuk Art Center at 210 North 5th Street, or at the door the evening of the event. Door prizes will be awarded to ticket holders throughout the evening.
