Carl Sandburg College Theater presents its spring play, “If,” from April 20-22 in the Fine Arts Theatre, Room F118, on the Main Campus in Galesburg.
This original play is the fifth written by director Susan Sharp, assistant professor of theater at Sandburg, and the fourth of those to be staged at the College. Show times are 7 p.m. April 20-22. There will also be a matinee at 2 p.m. April 22. Opening night includes a post-show reception and discussion with Erin Clark-Benedict from Lutheran Social Services.
When reporter Nevin O’Neal is approached with a story idea by his editor, he starts on a journey to find his birth parents and finds a surprising family history, himself and true love with Maureen.
Tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to each performance. Tickets are $8 for adults; $4 for senior citizens and veterans; $2 for non-Sandburg students; and free to Sandburg students, faculty and staff with a College ID.
